Unless you buy your effects exclusively from a manufacturer of Christian illusions, you may find some of your apparatus has markings on them that are anything but Christian in nature. Sadly, to make it “appealing to the masses” even New Age logos sometimes get cheaply stenciled on the boxes and tubes. These are not appropriate for the work of a Gospel illusionist, but nothing says they have to stay that way.

However a little spray paint, colorful contact paper, cut-vinyl or any number of things can eliminate these inappropriate symbols and pictures from being displayed in your program. Replace them instead with appropriate symbols that go along with your routine.

Also this is a great way to make all your props be within a set or themed color scheme. A little effort and some creativity will provide you with “custom props.”
