FORGET ABOUT LETTING THE CHURCH YOU ARE AFFILIATED WITH BUY YOUR EQUIPMENT

You’ve been building your ministry of Gospel illusion at your fellowship for the past several years and have been financially supported by your church in doing so. Now you feel the calling of God to take your ministry to another location, say in another state or country. After you’ve developed all this material with apparatus you have collected (some perhaps irreplaceable) you are faced with a tough dilemma – leaving the church bought equipment. To do this means two problems occur, first is that suddenly you don’t have your act you’ve been using and may need to “start over.” With moving expenses, there really isn’t much funds to cover buying many new things.

Understand this, where God leads, He is also faithful to provide. So if this is where you are, and you are sure God is calling you, your ministry may be changing.

Another scenario that sometimes happens is the head of a church you are attending changes, and the new pastor may have different ideas for what the church should support. Suddenly you are “forced out.” As with the other scenario, the same result occurs, you and your stuff go opposite directions.

In both of these possibilities the problem is the equipment suddenly may become exposed to others and thus the “secrets are out.” We need to do everything we can to keep this from happening.

So if you have support from your fellowship, be sure it is understood that the equipment is yours to keep. Otherwise, just build your ministry with your own funds. This keeps you from unneeded troubles in the future.
